History

Redhawk Winery was founded in 1988. Within a few years, the winery became well known for producing the value priced Pinot Noir, Grateful Red. In the summer of 2005, John & Betty Pataccoli purchased the winery and immediately began a major remodel of the property. The tasting room is completely new, the winery has been upgraded and significant improvements to both the infrastructure and health of the vineyard have been made. The results of these improvements are already evident in the improved quality of our wines.

We grow Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and small amounts of Riesling and Dolcetto. We strive to produce small quantities of outstanding yet reasonably priced wines. The winery is family owned and operated with John handling the winemaking and Betty running the business. We currently make 3500 cases.
